Exclusive Sample
Reading the tape: a sample exclusive
What the tape said: it's a sample, not a call.
Sample copy, published so this page has something to render. It is not a market call.
This exclusive is sample copy, written so the page has a long-form piece to render. It is not a transcript, not a recommendation, and not a record of a live trade.
Why the notes exist
The videos move. A note sits still. The point of an exclusive is to write down the part that should still make sense after the timeline has moved on: the claim, the thing that would prove it wrong, and what I am willing to do about it.
A sample cannot do that job for real. It can show the shape. The shape is a desk, not a signal fire.
What I watched
Three things, all invented for this page:
- A chart that looked urgent and said nothing about position size.
- A thread that repeated one number until the number felt like research.
- A quiet primary source that did not match the thread.
The mistake I am practicing against is letting the loudest item set the size of the trade. Volume is not evidence. Repetition is not evidence. The quiet source either breaks the story or it does not.
The rule on the card
If I cannot say why in one sentence, I do not have a trade. I have a mood.
That sentence goes in the journal before the order, not after. The sample book on the dashboard is labeled so nobody confuses the exercise with a fill.
| Step | What gets written |
|---|---|
| Read | The claim, in one sentence |
| Check | The fact that would prove it wrong |
| Wait | Whether the sentence still holds tomorrow |
Nothing to do
status: sample
action: none
When this is a real exclusive, the video id in the frontmatter is the cut this note belongs to. The id on this page is a placeholder. There is no upload behind it.
The digest is the other half of the desk: a daily pass over the social tape, shorter than this, and just as unwilling to pretend a sample is a call.
